Conferences

The Woodward can accommodate conferences from a few people up to 65 in set-up styles including rounds, classroom, theater and U.  The Woodward Max can accommodate conferences up to 35 people in U, rounds, rectangles or theater style.  At The Woodward Executive can accommodate conferences for up to 12 in rectangle or casual style.  Meals for conference events can include working breakfast (home made and fresh from the oven scones for example, with fruit, chantilly, yogurts, granolas, coffees, teas, juice, etc), buffet lunch, oven-fresh afternoon snacks, etc.  The Woodward conference rental includes a projection screen, TV/VCR/DVD, easels and flip charts with pens.

Valentine's Murder Mystery Dinner Special

The Woodward is offering a limited seven tables for Murder Mystery Dinner on each of Valentine's Day Friday and Saturday. Tables are for 6, 7 or 8 players and you and your friends and family at your table are the characters. This is my most fun Murder Mystery game offered. Book early as coordination, character choices and invitations need to be prepared in advance. Reserve your table early!!!

Dinner and the Murder Mystery go hand-in-hand and start at 6:00 pm and will end around 10 pm. One person at each table is the MURDERER. Could it be YOU???

Included in the $150 cost per couple is Dinner, the game, a bottle of champagne (or nonalcoholic), a gift for each of the ladies, and a Lover's Dessert Salute at the end of the evening. Tables do not have to be filled by traditional couples. All gals or all guys will have just as much fun!!

The Woodward Tea Club

The Woodward Tea Club is offered on occasion as a way for small groups to be able to enjoy the ambiance and peacefulness of this little get-away. Much like a coffee shop, the Tea Club offers relaxation, small meetings, small parties and beverages and homemade delectables.  Call for available Tea Club dates

Offered for Your Tasteful Indulgence: Coffees, teas, English sodas and other sweet drinks as well as Elizabeth's homemade scrumptious desserts varied daily to enhance your anticipation. Enjoy the ambiance of an Olde English era including the piano, fine music, games of choice,  a fire and cozy conversation in the King Henry VIII Library. Feel free to share songs if you play or sing, poems if you write or just good cheer. Reservations Required. Groups of 20 minimum.  Cost about $20 per person including tours of The Woodward and The Woodward Max, if desired.

Bridal/Baby Shower Packages

The Woodward now offers Bridal/Baby Shower packages. Your choices are:

The Woodward Shower Package includes rental and The Woodward Gourmet Iced Teas (or The Woodward Punch) for up to 30 guests plus setups for your own cake (plates, forks, napkins. $300 for a two -hour rental. Additional guests are $10 each.

The Woodward Dessert Shower Package includes rental and The Woodward Gourmet Iced Tea (or The Woodward Punch) plus homemade desserts (enough to sample each for each guest) and all the set-ups needed for desserts and beverages. $300 plus $5 per person.

Shower times available will generally be Friday, Saturday and Sundays by appointment 10:00 am to 12:00 noon; 1:00 to 3:00 pm; and 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Call for details and reservations.

A Unique Dining Experience

Dinner is offered for those lodging at The Woodward. Served in the small formal dining room, you will enjoy a five-course meal including appetizer, salad, soup, entrée, vegetable, starch, homemade breads and butters, and rich, sweet dessert. Everything is made fresh and from scratch the old fashioned way and is served by The Woodward butler formally on The Woodward's trademark cobalt blue and gold dinner ware.

Dessert might be Warm Grape Cobbler with Hand whipped cream. NOTE: The menu changes depending on the availability of fresh food products from our local and international food markets.

The Elegant Dinner Menu is priced at $150 per couple, plus taxes and gratuity, and is offered Friday and Saturday evenings only.

A Casual Dinner designed for the business traveler or light appetite is available for $24.95 per person and is offered Sunday through Thursday nights.)

Complimentary Hot Homemade Soup and Breads are offered for the business traveler arriving late in the evening.

Private Dinner Parties are also offered as is customary at The Woodward. Pricing for Private Parties, weddings, conferences, etc. varies.

Special Packages

These Getaway packages and special offerings provide additional pampering for guests at The Woodward.

The Whirlpool Package includes private use of the whirlpool deck for the hour chosen prepared for you with strawberries and cream and champagne (or non-alcoholic champagne). The package also includes breakfast in bed at a time chosen by the guests instead of breakfast with the other guests at house breakfast time. -$75

The "Chocolate Lover's Whirlpool" Package is for chocolate lovers, consider substituting the strawberries and cream with chocolate delights in abundance. Champagne or non-alcoholic champagne is also included. If requested, breakfast will also feature a delectable edible chocolate fantasy for you to share. Same price as the Whirlpool Package - $75.

Pillow Talk Overnights are a special slumber party style offering. One or two Pillow Talk nights can be reserved in one room or the whole house full. In addition to the usual accommodations, you will have one night of either movie night or game night with snacks and beverages. Also included are massages, manicures/pedicures and whirlpools. For the Pillow Talk overnights, sleeping in is also a highlighted feature.

A Rose By Any Other Name Special is a Beautiful Cobalt Blue vase of 12 stemmed roses awaiting your arrival romantically displayed on the pillows in the room you have chosen. Matching rose petals will be lovingly adorned around the room as well. Specific number of roses and color on request. Priced around $75 depending on seasonal market value of roses.

Bubbly and Bittersweet Special- Upon arrival, a chilled bottle of champagne (or non-alcoholic) with a variety of sumptuous chocolate delicacies will await you in your room. The package will include cobalt blue champagne flutes for you to enjoy and then take home as a keepsake. Priced at $75.
